Colin Pang began studying classical piano at the age of five. As a child he studied at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where he excelled in piano performance and chamber music. While in college he worked with renowned pianist Douglas Buys. He has received coaching from world-class soloists and ensembles, such as pianist Roy Bogas and members of the Miró String Quartet. He continues to perform a diverse repertoire of solo and chamber music works, including his own compositions.
